Kimchi Pizza
Ingredients
Sauce
- 16 ounce crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
- pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes
- 1/8 cup Zimchi kimchi liquid
Toppings
- mushrooms
- green pepper
- red onion
- 1/2 cup of Zymbiotics Zimchi kimchi drained and room temperature
- pepperoni or other toppings of your choice
Crust
- either buy a crust or make one:
- 3 cups warm water
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 1/2 cups bread flour or multipurpose
- 1 1/2 tbls. yeast
- 1 1/2 tbls. kosher salt
Instructions
Dough
- mix, let rise a few hours and form dough into pizza crust, makes three 18 inch pizza crusts
- preheat oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit
Sauce
- mix sauce
- add toppings (except kimchi)
- cook for 12 to 15 minutes
- take out of oven
- add kimchi/zimchi
- slice, serve and enjoy
- If you do not bake the kimchi it will still be probiotic.
