Kimchi Cheese Spread
- 1/2 c. Zimchi or Vegan Zimchi with a little brine
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 oz Neufchatel (low fat cream cheese, at room temp.)
- ¼ c. plain low fat yogurt
- ¼ c. goat cheese (opt)
- 1 Tb. parsley
- 1 tsp hot sauce (opt)
- Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Season to taste. Makes 1 ½ cups.
- Use as a dip for veggies, serve with crackers or as a sandwich spread or condiment for baked potato, fish, poultry etc.
Per 2 Tablespoonfuls, 50 kcal, 3.5 g fat, 1.5 g sat fat, 10 mg cholesterol, 65 mg sodium, 2 g carbs, 2 g protein.
